Lioudmila Haimovici is a Professional Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgeon. Lioudmila Haimovici has been working and has found success in her field, due to her extreme passion for the artistic aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery. Instead of approaching the subject as a purely medicinal field, Lioudmila Haimovici believes approaching plastic surgery as an art can enable people to find wholeness and completion beyond that of a simple physical fix. Lioudmila Haimovici is an extremely educated individual, and has spent the better part of her life furthering her knowledge and becoming accredited in numerous sections of her field at various institutions.
Starting at Lomonosov Moscow University many years ago, Lioudmila Haimovici worked hard and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Magna Cum Laude. Though this first venture took her an extra year, she made up for lost time when she went for a second Bachelor’s degree, this time focusing in Biology and attending Hunter College of the City University of New York and graduating Summa Cum Laude.
After taking a couple years to work, Lioudmila Haimovici enrolled at the renowned New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, and pursued a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine. She earned her doctorate over 10 years ago. Lioudmila Haimovici remained in New York for some time, and began her General Surgery Residency with Nassau University Medical Center only months after receiving her doctorate. After finishing general surgery residency, Lioudmila Haimovici moved on to earn Hand Surgery Fellowship from Stony Brook University Hospital in and finally earned her Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship from St. Barnabas Hospital
