Lioudmila Haimovici has spent over two decades educating herself and building her career from the ground up. She originally earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, but afterwards decided she would rather pursue science and medicine. Lioudmila Haimovici moved to New York and studied for a second Bachelor’s Degree, this time earning one in the field of Biology. She went on to earn her Doctorate soon after. Lioudmila Haimovici has considerable surgical experience and skill, and considers her work to be a form of art that can empower and restore her patients to an even healthier state than they were in before treatments.
Lioudmila Haimovici’s merits do not end when she leaves work at night, however. Although Lioudmila Haimovici is a successful and well-regarded plastic surgeon, she is also recognized as a passionate and formidable athlete. Lioudmila Haimovici was a competitive swimming in Russia, which is her country of origin. Not only was she a competitive swimmer, but she also took 3rd place in a national swimming competition. This solidified her love for swimming, and she has continued to swim whenever she gains the opportunity to do so. Later on in her life, after coming to the United States, she placed 1st in an intercollegiate mile-long freestyle swim as a student of Hunter College of the City University of New York.
Since becoming a successful competitive swimmer, Lioudmila Haimovici has continued to love the sport, but has not recently participated in any major competitive events. She did recently participate in the 5-mile-long “Swim Across America” event, to raise funds to fight cancer.
